An R1150GS Adventure brought in for an oil leak that appeared to be between the 2 halves of the transmission case. Further dis-assembly revealed the transmission had been over-filled by over 400 cc's and the excess gear oil was being pumped out of the transmission vent @ the top of the unit. Clutch & input shaft splines are in excellent condition on this bike w/ 053737 miles! Cleaned and re-lubricated the splines w/ Staburags paste and re-assembled 24 September 2009.
